I passed my initial driving test in 1965 a long time ago when the roads were relatively quiet and technology virtually non existent by today’s standards.
Fast forward to the present day with better engineering, education and environmental considerations ( pot holes excepted ), to say little about safer vehicles and advanced driver assistance.
My own driving history over the last 30 years or so has involved many many miles throughout the UK partly because of part time employment and voluntary work connected with research into post traumatic stress disorder. This resulted in delivering training courses public service organisations, primarily the NHS, emergency and social services until 2001.
In 2024 I passed my IAM advanced driving test (1st class) and the National Observers exam in 2026. My thanks to Geoff Coughlin for his excellent tuition.
It is my intention to help associates to become drivers to a higher standard.
