Jonathan passed his driving test in 1992, the same year he joined the fire service. Having spent many years thinking he was an ‘above average’ driver, he started his advanced course as a blue light driver with West Midlands Fire Service.
Jonathan describes that the course ‘lifted the scales from his eyes’ and he was amazed how much driving to the advanced system made him better all-round.
Now a National Observer with IAM Lincolnshire, Jonathan is keen to help other drivers by imparting his knowledge and skills.
